Schools: The Bedford School District, SAU 25, is the home of Memorial, Peter Woodbury and Riddlebrook Elementary Schools, McKelvie Intermediate School, Ross Lurgio Middle School and the newly built Bedford High School. The high school adjoins the middle school on a 40-acre (160,000 m2) campus at 47 Nashua Road. The two schools share an 810-seat theatre, a 2000-seat gymnasium, a field turf football field and a synthetic 400-meter track. Bedford High School is ranked 9th within New Hampshire. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® course work and exams. The AP® participation rate at Bedford High School is 35 percent. In 2017, Bedford High School was ranked #2007 in the National Rankings and earned a silvermedal. Schools are ranked based on their performance on state-required tests and how well they prepare students for college.
